The field of skin lesion treatment is primarily that of a plastic surgeon.

A plastic surgeon possesses the necessary training in order to evaluate whether the lesion is benign in nature and if not, to radically resect it in order to completely treat the problem.

Regarding the treatment of skin neoplasms, most important is the fast treatment and radical excision. Patients should be aware that a lesion that has appeared recently and tends to grow should be checked from a specialist. Likewise the same is true for a wound that doesn’t heal or heals abnormally over 1 or 2 weeks. Finally care should be given to old lesions perhaps even those stemming from childhood that have recently begun changing their qualities. The same general logic applies to subcutaneous lesions.
