Christos Papamanolis was born in Kastoria in 1957. He was admitted in the medical school in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1975, and graduated in 1981. After the required military service he served as a General Practitioner in rural areas across the country. He began the main specialty as a Plastic Surgeon in 1987 at the “George Papanikolaou” general hospital, where he completed his education in 1991. During his specialty he was trained in cases involving the whole spectrum of Plastic Surgery, trauma rehabilitation, burns, microsurgery, and surgery of the hand as well as many cases of aesthetic surgery. After taking his exams he was awarded the specialty of Plastic Surgery. Following that he trained under prominent Greek and European plastic surgeons.
Since then he maintains a private practice.
He practices the full array of procedures that Plastic Surgery specializes in, namely surgical reconstruction of birth and acquired anomalies, microsurgical procedures involving the upper extremities, while a large part of his work involves aesthetic surgery of the whole body.
He is keeping up to date with recent developments in his specialty by attending conferences around the world.
He is a member of the Hellenic Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery as well as the European one. He is the head of the Plastic Surgery Department in Bioclinic Thessaloniki.
